Our training is designed to equip participants with valuable insights into advocating for LGBT+ rights and to offer a platform to launch and manage digital campaigns effectively.<br \/>\nPlease apply here\u00a0before 10th May 2026.<br \/>\nDon\u2019t forget to share this with your friends who might be interested!<br \/>\nLogo of the African Queer Youth Initiative<br \/>\nThis is the two groups\u2019 announcement about the training:<br \/>\nCall For Applications: Fuelling Digital Activism Training \u2013 East Africa<br \/>\nAQYI and All Out are pleased to announce the call for applications for the next phase of the Fueling Digital Activism training series in Africa.<br \/>\nFrom 15th to 19th June 2026, we will hold an immersive training for young LGBTQI+ rights activists from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Rwanda. The FDA training aims to unite activists from these countries in a participatory training experience focused on digital activism. Our goal is to establish a dynamic network of empowered change-makers across East Africa, fostering a deep understanding of the challenges faced by LGBTQI+ youths in the region.<br \/>\nThis comprehensive training is designed to equip participants with valuable insights into advocating for LGBTQI+ rights and to offer a platform to launch and manage their digital campaigns effectively. Developed through a needs analysis of prominent activists in the region, the curriculum covers a range of topics relevant to digital campaigning. Participants will delve into campaign creation, fundraising strategies, creative elements, media collaboration, and digital security.<br \/>\nEligibility Criteria:<br \/>\n  See Also<\/p>\n<p>We welcome applications from individuals who meet the following criteria:<br \/>\nAge Range: 18 \u2013 30 years old.<br \/>\nNationality: From one of the target countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Rwanda).<br \/>\nPassion: Demonstrated passion for the rights and well-being of LGBTQI+ individuals in the region.<br \/>\nCommitment: Ability to fully and actively participate throughout the entire training.<br \/>\nDeadline: 10th May 2026<br \/>\nWe encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply, including non-binary and transgender individuals, those residing in rural areas, and those engaged with religious communities.<br \/>\nSelected candidates will be granted a full scholarship covering all expenses related to the training, including travel, accommodation, and meals.<br \/>\nKindly note that only the selected candidates will be contacted for the next steps in the application process.
