Nine Taxis Destroyed in Early Morning Fire at Nyanga Taxi Rank

Nine vehicles have been destroyed in a fire at the Nyanga Taxi Rank on the Cape Flats.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday morning.
Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson, Jermaine Carelse says several crews were dispatched to the scene and the fire was extinguished.
Carelse says preliminary reports indicate that five Quantum and four Iveco Sprinters were destroyed in the blaze.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is unknown.
