The leaders of the National Unity Platform led by their president, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu and the Buganda parliamentary caucus leader, Muhammed Muwanga Kivumbi have asked the speaker of Parliament to apologise to Buganda.
The speaker of the Parliament of Uganda, Hon Anita Annet Among made a statement during the voting in favor or against the coffee bill presented to the floor last week, a statement where he referred to Buganda members of Parliament as “those Baganda “.

A statement which the speaker made didn’t please Buganda at large, and she has been roasted on the Internet since then.
