Police have launched a manhunt following the fatal shooting of a woman believed to be a lawyer in the Johannesburg CBD earlier on Monday.
The 35-year-old woman was shot and killed at the corner of Fox and Joubert Streets.
The woman was declared dead on the scene.
Preliminary reports indicate that the deceased was allegedly followed by two unknown suspects who opened fire on her before fleeing the scene on foot.
The motive for the killing is not yet known.
Police have called on anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the two suspects to come forward.
