‎‎Ms Kabasharira said that Rukutana is doing all these because is driven by frustration after losing the 2021-2026 NRM primaries. She said Rukutana lacked public backup due to election violence during campaigns.
‎‎Kabasharira also accuses Rukutana for failing to deliver services during his long tenure, where people still lack clean water, and electricity despite having served as minister and area MP for the decades.
‎She even cited on water project where pipes were laid but people were not connected.
‎‎Underscoring her own term in office, Kabasharira explained that now Rushenyi secured two health centre IVs and two ambulances unmatched with other counties in Ntungamo.
