The NRM presidential candidate who doubles as the incumbent president of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has threatened to take action on all those leaders who have been involved in corruption scandals such as commercial officers and other technical leaders who are corrupt in PDM program.The president made the call while campaigning in Bushenyi district a function that was held at Kizinda play ground in Bushenyi Ishaka municipality.He noted that PDM is one of the programs the government is using to eradicate poverty at household level but it is unfortunate that some,leaders are pulling it down through corruption which he says is bad and will do whatever necessary to investigate and take action.Speaking on the same rally the Bushenyi district NRM chairperson tycoon Hassan Bassajjabalaba noted that as Bushenyi district voters are ready to vote ,the ruling party NRM ,However stressed for a need for the president to sign a health insurance for Ugandans and also be in support for an industrial park for greater Bushenyi .After all this the president asked for votes for all flag bearers so as to create a sustainable development both at national and local levels.
