Fear has gripped the entire Uganda Police Fraternity following the collapse and death of one of them, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Darlington Eiru.
Eiru has been serving as the Officer in charge of Clock Tower Police Station in Kampala. He is said to have been pronounced dead on Sunday morning upon arrival at Nsambya Hospital where he was rushed by the colleagues.
The deceased’s body has been handed over to Funeral service for management. According to the Soroti West Division Member of Parliament, Jonathan Ebwalu, on behalf of the family says there is going to be a funeral service today (Monday) at Sts. Phillip and Andrew’s Cathedral in Mukono at 12:00pm and thereafter vigil at his home in Mukono.
There will be a funeral service at Peter’s Cathedral Soroti on Tuesday July 23, 2024 at 2:00pm.
ASP Eiru Darlington will be buried on Wednesday July 24, at their ancestral home in Oderai cell Oderai ward Soroti West Division.
