In an interview, outspoken football agent Ronnie Santos shed light on Ugandan defender Gift Fred’s earlier transfer to Tanzanian giants Yanga SC.
The discussion comes in the wake of Santos’ public outburst on social media, where he accused Fred of failing to pay the commission owed to him after brokering the deal that saw the player join Yanga.
Santos did not hold back in expressing his frustration.
His comments followed Fred’s announcement of his departure from Yanga, which sparked Santos’ initial social media attack.
During the interview, Santos also took the opportunity to reveal a deeper issue he believes hinders many Ugandan players from achieving long-term success abroad.
