Three men gunned down in Delft taxi-related violence

Three men have died following a shooting at a taxi rank in Voorbrug, Delft, on the Cape Flats.
Western Cape Police Spokesperson André Traut says two of the victims were declared dead on the scene, while the third victim died in hospital.
Traut says the incident is believed to be linked to taxi – related violence.
He says, “Upon arrival at the scene, officers found the bodies of two men, aged 55 and 58, who had sustained gunshot wounds. Both victims were declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel.”
Traut adds, “A third victim, aged 38, was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries. Preliminary reports indicate that a Toyota Quantum stopped at the taxi rank, and shots were fired from inside the vehicle. The suspects thereafter fled the scene.”
