Two memorial services planned for Lekota

Two memorial services will be held for the late Congress of the People (COPE) leader Mosiuoa Lekota this week.
The one will take place in Johannesburg on Tuesday and the other one in Bloemfontein on Thursday.
Lekota will be laid to rest in the Free State capital city on Saturday.
COPE’s National Chairperson, Pakes Dikgetsi, says a church service will also be held at the Catholic Church in Bochabela on Friday in Bloemfontein.
Dikgetsi says, “The legacy of Mr Lekota is very crucial to the prosperity of our democracy. The first time at the church service, there was a colleague that said the passing of Mr Lekota should actually be the rebirth of COPE and that his legacy should never go to waste.”
