Gaddafi FC surprised with an early lead in the 13th minute, courtesy of Buyala’s close-range finish from Ssengendo Sharif’s cross.
Just two minutes into the second half, Vuni leveled the score by heading home a delivery from Hussein Zzinda.
The hosts had a chance to snatch a late winner, but Achumu Faridi Rashid failed to capitalize with the goalkeeper at his mercy.
UPDF remains second from the bottom in the standings with 17 points, while Gaddafi FC climbs above Busoga United to 13th place with 19 points.
