URA Unveil Derrick Ochan – Live from ground
URA have officially confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Derrick Ochan.
The goalkeeper has joined the Tax Collectors on a two-year deal, from KCCA, where he spent the entire 2022-2023 season.
Ochan is expected to debut for URA on Friday, September 13, when the Tax Collecters kickoff their 2024/25 league campaign at Lugogo, against his former paymasters, KCCA.
A product of the FUFA Juniors League, Ochan has also previously played for the Vipers Junior Team before being elevated to the senior ranks at Kitende, and later moved to Police.

Ochan is now the fourth player to be officially unveiled by the Tax Collectors so far, after defender Bright Vuni, plus attacking midfielders Abraham Tusubira and Isma Mugulusi.
Ochan’s wide experience will help beef up URA’s goalkeeping department that already has Denis Otim and Rogers Omedwa, plus youngster Abdul Magada who is yet to be unveiled by the club.
Ibrahim Kazindula from BUL is the other signed player only waiting to be unveiled at URA, while goalkeepers James Alitho and Samuel Mwaka have both left the club.
Besides Mwaka, the club has also confirmed the exit of Ronald Andabati, Najib Fesali, Viane Ssekajugo, Eric Ssenjobe, Said Kyeyune and Ibrahim Dada.
