US confirms three service members killed in Iran military operations

The United States has confirmed the deaths of three US service members in the ongoing military attack against Iran. 
US President Donald Trump has vowed to use greater force in response to Iran’s retaliation. This development could lead to a further intensification of the ongoing conflict.
The US Central Command put out a statement confirming the first US deaths, in addition to five other service members seriously injured in their ongoing Operation Epic Fury. The statement says several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions and are in the process of being returned to duty, and that combat operations continued while the US response effort was ongoing.
They further indicated that the situation was fluid and would withhold further information until the families of the fallen had been informed. Casualties have also risen in Iran and Israel as a result of the ongoing conflict, which has been condemned by the UN.
