The Inaugural Pro Sports Analytics Camp has officially kicked off on the field of play this Sunday 28th, December 2025 at Mpoma Royal College in Mukono.
The Four (4) days Soccer Camp has attracted over 26 teams competing in age categories of U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17 and teams are competing in both genders.
“We are very happy that teams turned up in big numbers and we are grateful that we have surpassed some of our targets and achievements. We are very expectant to give our academies and members who have joined our inaugural Pro Sports Analytics Camp a good service” Stated David Kamanzi, the CEO of the camp.
“The camp is not only about playing football on the field of play but also identifying talents, nurturing them and most importantly creating memories and scouting them for bigger opportunities”.
“This is the inaugural camp and it will be organized annually with many other youth development programs in it like creating a scouting team that will be moving in different parts of Uganda and our selected players will be playing a tournament organized by International Development Academy in Morocco”. Added Kamanzi
On day one at the field of play, four games were played in the Under Seventeen (U17) the oldest category in the inaugural camp.
MJ sports Academy from Jinja District defeated Talent and Skills Soccer Academies from Koboko by 2-0 score line, Mukono Galacticos Soccer Academy were victorious against Bulamu Super Eagles Academy by a slim 1-0 win courtesy of Samson Kasirye Neymar
In other games in the category, Saved Atletico from Kampala defeated Buwama’s based side BWB Soccer Academy by 2-1 before hosts in Mpoma Royal College ran riot to Mukono Galacticos Soccer Academy by 4-0 score line in the last game of the U17 category.
In the U15 Girls category, two marches were played and Dream Girls Soccer Academy Kawempe had their two teams register victory.
Dream Girls team A thrashed Oasis Academy from Arua by 5-0. Halima Mupyanga registered a brace on her name well as Angel Ainembabazi, Julie Kiiza and Trina Nakawuki all netted a goal each.
In the other game in the girl’s category, Sky Light lost to Dream Girls Soccer Academy Team B thanks to a goal by Shania.
Under Nine (U9) has reached semi finals and here Joy and Jolly will take on Blessed Soccer Academy well as Talent and Skills Soccer Academies from Koboko face Esuubi Foundation from Njeru Municipality.
Actions in all age categories continue on Monday 29th December 2025 at Mpoma Royal College Mukono
The first of it’s kind, the Pro Sports Analytics Camp will climax on Tuesday 30th, December 2025 at Mpoma Royal College and winners of every category will walk away with a set Jersey, Trophy and Medals with many other awards to be won
