Wakiso Giants Confirm Two Big Signings

Wakiso Giants have officially confirmed two new signings ahead of their 2024/25 Uganda Premier League (UPL) opener, a home encounter against Bright Stars on Sunday, September 15.

Attacking midfielders David Bagoole and and Marvin Oshaba have both joined the Purple Sharks, as confirmed by the club on Saturday.

Bagoole has joined the Purple family on a one year contract from Vipers, while Oshaba joins in on two-year deal from Express.

Bagoole most previously played for Gaddafi and Jinja North on different loan spells from Vipers.

Oshaba, who also previously played for Tooro United, Police and Ibanda Municipal Council had spent the past two seasons at Express.

The Wakiso club has also officially acquired the services of defenders Issack Mtengwa and Shaibu Mtita on a loan from Tanzanian giants Young Africans.

Besides Bagoole, Oshaba, Mtengwa and Mtita, the Purple Sharks have so far unveiled six other new signings, including Tevin Kyeyune, Josephat Ayebare, Hudson Mbalire, Vincent Zziwa, Derrick Kaija and Eric Kabamba.
