Wokuri Geofrey officially Launches His Campaigns in Bungokho South, promises service delivery & Poverty Eradication programmes

Hon. Wokuri Geofrey officially launched his campaign bid from Bumaena Parish in Bushiende Sub County, marking the beginning of an energetic journey toward the 2026 general elections.He was warmly welcomed by supporters, local leaders and residents from different villages who gathered in large numbers to show their solidarity. The jubilant supporters were heard chanting songs of praise and sharing heartfelt testimonies of Hon. Wokuri’s good leadership and service to the people.Leading the team was the Sub County NRM Chairman, Mr. Waburoko Sam, who thanked Hon. Wokuri for his consistent support toward community initiatives and government programs. He used the occasion to sensitize residents about the outstanding qualities of Hon. Wokuri and encouraged them to vote for NRM flag bearers at all levels starting with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.In his address, Hon. Wokuri expressed deep gratitude to the people for their overwhelming support during the party primaries and appealed for continued trust and unity as the team heads into the general elections. They recalled electing him as a district councillor before he allegedly abandoned them after the creation of Lukhonje Sub County. Many expressed frustration and eagerness for change, saying they looked forward to ushering in a new era of responsible leadership.In Mulatsi Village, residents particularly decried the poor state of their road and bridge, blaming the incumbent for failure to supervise road works despite serving as District Roads Committee Chairperson.The campaign trail later proceeded to Isango Parish, where the team was received with enthusiasm.
