Lydia Wanyoto Mutende was warmly embraced by her supporters in Bukonde chanting her campaign slogan,’ Lydia Wanyoto Mutende, Big Sister, ‘ air lifted her to the meeting venue at  Bukonde Secondary school ahead of the NRM Mobilisation meeting This was during the NRM Parish mobilisation meeting convened to launch door-to-door campaigns in BukondeWanyoto revealed that Bufumbo Health Centre IV in Mufudu-Bukonde is to receive a fully equipped ambulance to serve the communities of Lwaso, Bukonde, Upper Namanyonyi, and neighbouring areas of Jewa Town Council, Bubyangu Subcounty, Bufumbo and Budwale subcounties In a related situation, Wanyoto pronounced the procurement of a neonatal intensive care baby incubator, a development after the successful construction of a maternity ward by the UPDF recently at the said health facility which has prompted an increase in the number of mothers giving life following the development Wanyoto added that this machine is fully fledged with electricity, Solar, and thermal energy connections thus ensuring 24/7 service to the intended patients Recently, Hon. Wanyoto and partners of the Eastern Bar community organised a purpose-run dubbed ‘Eastern Bar, Mental Health Run-2nd Edition’ to raise money to purchase this machine.Lydia Wanyoto Mutende is also the NRM flag bearer for Mbale City Women’s seat seeking people’s mandate on January 15th to ably represent Mbale City Women in the 12th Parliament Wanyoto continues with grass-root campaigns emphasising the 2nd ballot box which is for the women representative and appeals to the Mbale City community to vote for her on a bus symbol
