Kampala– On Tuesday morning, the Rt. Hon Rebecca A. Kadaga, 1st Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of East Africa Community Affairs Uganda, hosted H.E Zhang Lizhong, the outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Uganda, who had paid a courtesy call on her at the Ministry’s Headquarters in Kampala.
H.E Zhang’s tenure comes to an end after 4.7 years of valuable contributions to the China-Uganda cooperation. The Ambassador appreciated the 1st Deputy Prime Minister and Government for the support extended to him which he said was responsible for the numerous achievements registered. He expressed delight in the deepening of cooperation between the two countries as projected by the several project initiatives implemented such as the Entebbe Kampala Expressway, the successful hosting of the NAM and G77 plus China summit .
