There is also Evaristo Rwambuga the speaker of the same municipality. He contested in the NRM primaries and lost to his boss Richard Byaruhanga.The other two are; Guma Gumisiriza of PFF and Kacuncu Damazo of NUPREASONS GIVEN BY POLITICAL ANALYSTS IN REGARDS TO THE WIN OF MAYOR RICHARD BYARUHANGAThe political analysts affirmed to www.mknewslink.com that the major reason is that Mr Byaruhaga is an incumbent and has four other candidates running against him which gives power over them as a sitting mayor.Secondly, Mayor Byaruhanga is an NRM party flag bearer. This this gives a big advantage over the other 4 he is running with.The third point is the fact that most of the powerful individuals in Bushenyi and Ugandan politics support Mayor Richard Byaruhanga. Most importantly among them is Tycoon Hassan Basajabalaba CEC member and Bushenyi district NRM chairman.Other supporters are MP elect for Bushenyi Ishaka municipality Hon Hajji Idd Basaja, Hon. Annet Katusiime Mugisha Bushenyi district woman MP elect among other top leaders in the district.Another reason analysts give is the unquestionable great performance in services to the people of the municipality like roads, Bushenyi health center 4 upgrade, education and Farming extra.MR. JACKSON KAMUGASHAPolitical analysts regard him as leader who served and retired formally. Still, voters ask what he forgot in office because he led for 3 terms.Also in his political career, he depended a lot on Ishaka division for his success but this time round, the above division where is born doesn’t support him as before.MR.EVARISTO RWAMBUGAPolitical analysts blame him for the continuous Municipal council fights which were engineered by him as the speaker.On the other hand, he is young and some of the youths support him.GUMA GUMISIRIZA PFF AND DAMAZO KACUNCU NUPThe two are newcomers in Bushenyi Ishaka municipality politics.Analysts add they don’t have resources to run an election successfully.Lastly, their parties PFF and NUP they don’t have support in the municipality and the region.
