Kampala Swans Fancy Chances Against Deliverance

Table toppers Kampala Swans will face Deliverance Church in the National Hockey League on Sunday looking to continue with their unblemished start to the season.

The Swans have won all their games thus far, but their sweetest win came last weekend. In a top of the table clash, KHC edged title rivals Weatherhead 2-0 to make their intentions of retaining the title clear.

The Swans who won their first ever league title last season top the table standings with nine points, three ahead of the two Wananchi sides and five ahead of their Sunday opponents.

Deliverance was on top of their game against Makerere is their last league encounter, but they will come into this one with less expectations.

Before these two sides take to the pitch, Thunders will open the match day against Weatherhead Historicals before record league winners Wananchi facing Makerere on Saturday evening.

Wananchi-HDF against Weatherhead will then wrap up the weekend action on Sunday evening. The former is placed second in the league standings with 6 points, but they will come up against a side that will be eager to raise their stakes.

Weatherhead have only three points albeit after playing only two games. They will be looking to rise above the ladder and continue with their title aspirations.
