UEDCL Announces Power Shutdown Ahead of Kampala South Sub Station Works


Kampala-Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited (UEDCL) has informed all its customers being served by Kampala South Sub Station, that there will have no power tomorrow Tuesday April 28th 2026 starting from 8.00 am to 5.00pm

According to statement issued by Jonan Kiiza has asked all the customers in the affected areas to remain patient untill when the power is fully restored.
The affected parts are; Zana, Kajansi, Kitende, Seguku, Wamala Rd, Makindye, Kizungu, Masajja, Delico, Gwowonya Eggere, Kibiri, Busabala, Gangu, Kabuma, Kibuye, Kiyumba Stage, Binzali, Kulekana, Munyonyo, Najja central zone, Muzito Rd, Namuli Zone, and parts of Namasuba.
