Nelson Okello, a technician from Bukedea region, is celebrating a life-changing victory after winning UGX 50 million at betPawa Casino.
Okello, an avid football fan, decided to try out the Multi Wins game after a series of unsuccessful football bets.
“After my football bets didn’t work out, I switched to the casino and tried Multi Wins. That’s where I got lucky and won fifty million,” Okello shared.
During his visit to betPawa offices last week, Okello was congratulated by Uganda Country Marketing Manager Ivy Igunduura. Igunduura emphasized that Okello’s win validates the company’s promise of winning big with small bets.
“Nelson won on his first try with just 500 shillings, affirming our proposition to customers that you can play with a small amount and win big,” Igunduura stated.
Still in disbelief over his “beginner’s luck,” Okello recounted his disbelief upon seeing the fifty million shillings in his account. “I didn’t believe it at first. I even switched my phone off and on again just to be sure,” he said.
After withdrawing five million shillings, Okello was thrilled to see the money immediately transferred to his mobile money account, despite being caught in the rain outside.
Okello plans to use his winnings to purchase land and build a family home in the future.
