Uganda Prisons warns Ex warder Ampe to Remain Disciplined


Kampala-Uganda Prisons Service has called upon ex- warder Lawrence Ampe who was dismissed from the service over Indiscipline not to go beyond his limit throughout his conduct.

“Regarding ex-warder Ampe Lawrence, he is hereby warned and reminded that he remains bound by the Code of Conduct and Ethics of the Uganda Public Service, in accordance with Sections 4.8.3 II.” Remarked Frank Baine, Spokes person of Uganda Prisons
He added that Uganda Prisons Service continues to execute its mandate as provided under the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, while upholding its core values of Professionalism, Reliability, Integrity, Security, Oneness, Nationalism and above all, Discipline.
In December last year, Ampe was dismissed from Uganda Prisons Service as a punishment for misusing his social media platforms to post things that are against the Prisons code of Conduct.
Despite of the fact that he was not given a discharge certificate, he joined active politics and on several occasions, he has been seen campaigning for National Unity Platform (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.
