The Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago who was admitted in a Nairobi hospital last month has now been taken to India for a vital surgery on his spinal code system.
Lord May who spoke to media before being flown to India says despite efforts by the Doctors in Nairobi and even here in the country at Mulago hospital, the problem has persisted and doctors recommended he goes for an operation where the affected disk will be removed and replaced with implants.

According to the Lord Mayor, his left arm and the back is in pain, he has received medication and some therapies but remained feeling sick until he opted for the surgery in China.

“The Doctors advised that i should use conservative methods physiotherapy and a couple of others, i got some relief but unfortunately the problem has persisted and visited quite a number of health facilities; Rubaga hospital, Mulago hospital, Nakasero hospital, Kampala hospital but eventually all doctors recommended that i should go for a surgical operation”-says Lukwago
