The stage is set for the 2026 USSSA U20 Boys’ Football Championship following the official draws held today at the USSSA headquarters at GNS Plaza in Kampala.
A total of 64 teams have been drawn into 16 groups of four, setting up what promises to be a fiercely contested tournament as schools from across the country battle for top honors.
Defending champions Buddo Secondary School will begin their title defense aiming to replicate last year’s triumph, where they defeated St Mary’s Boarding Secondary School Kitende in Ngora to lift the trophy.
This year’s championship will be hosted by Lira Town College in Lira City, with matches scheduled to run from 10th to 20th May 2026. The tournament is expected to showcase emerging talent and intense rivalries as teams compete for national glory.
The draws have already thrown up several exciting matchups, with traditional football powerhouses and rising sides spread across the groups.
