Busoga Sub Region received a total of five Ministers in President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s new Cabinet making it one of those regions with a reasonable number of Ministers.

These are Rt Hon Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Affairs
In the same Office is Hon Rukia Isanga Nakadama the Third Deputy Prime Minister and who has been serving in the same position during the last term.
Hon. Persis Namuganza has also maintained her position as the State For Housing
Hon Babirye Milly Babalanda has bounced back as the Minister for Presidency.
Hon Justine Kasule Lumumba, who is not a member of Parliament among all the above individuals, has joined Cabinet as Government Chief Whip.
